Paneer Butter Masala
A creamy, restaurant-style tomato-based gravy with soft cottage cheese cubes.

- 250g Paneer (Cottage Cheese), cubed
- 3 large Tomatoes, pureed
- 2 medium Onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 2 tbsp Butter (Unsalted preferred)
- Spices: Salt, Turmeric, Red Chili Powder, Garam Masala
- Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek leaves) for garnish
Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions 👨🍳:
- Heat butter in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Pour in the tomato puree and cook on medium heat until the oil starts separating from the masala.
- Stir in the dry spices (salt, chili powder, turmeric) and mix well.
- Add the paneer cubes and a splash of water. Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Lower the heat, stir in the fresh cream, and sprinkle crushed Kasuri Methi on top.
- Serve hot with Butter Naan or Jeera Rice.
