  • 2 large Onions, pureed
  • 2 tbsp Chole Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • Amchur (Dried Mango Powder) for tanginess
  • Tea bag (optional, for dark color)

  • 2 cups Maida (All-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt (Dahi)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • Oil for deep frying

Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³:

  1. Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas with salt and a tea bag until tender.
  2. For the Bhature dough: Mix maida, yogurt, and baking soda. Knead into a soft dough and let it rest for 2 hours.
  3. In a large pan, sautΓ© ginger-garlic paste and onion puree until light brown.
  4. Add tomato puree and chole masala. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  5. Add the boiled chickpeas (remove the tea bag first) and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
  6. Roll out small portions of the dough into ovals and deep fry in hot oil until they puff up.
  7. Serve the hot Bhature with the spicy Chole, sliced onions, and a lemon wedge.
